Russian conceptual ethno-avantgarde musical project founded in 2010 by Merelej (МРЉЈ). The music narrates the story of a creature called Shchrt who set out on a journey around his small world in search of elemental birds which could revive the snowy wastelands, his native land. The cornerstone of ЩРТТТЩ's music are free improvisations on a prepared piano; they alternate with field recordings, acoustic and electronic noise and ambient soundscapes.
